Robert and Linda Smith formed Free Them Ministries, Inc., in 1997 with a desire to set the captives free (Luke 4:18) by sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in a way that makes the Bible an easy-to-understand tool that is yours from which you can find answers for life, get to know God through Jesus Christ and discover your God-given purpose!

We want to help set you free from the boredom and bondage of religion. So if 'church' puts you to sleep, if you don't have a clue what the preacher is talking about, if your past is a barrier between you and God, then Free Them Ministries and PowerHouse Christian Center are for you.

It is important to us that we enjoy our Christian life together with other believers free from gender bias, age bias, racial prejudices, pre-conceived doctrinal errors and ill-founded opinion. Therefore, we learn the scriptures in what God called a rightly-divided way (II Timothy 2:15)  The Bible interprets itself (II Peter 1:20).  We CAN know what God means in His word and wants for our lives.

Another very important element of our relationship with God and each other is the Holy Spirit.  Free Them Ministries and PowerHouse Christian Center are unapologetic about our fervency in flowing in the Holy Spirit.  John 4:23-24, But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
